All Rides FREE on New Year’s Eve!
You have no excuse, so don’t ring in the new year with a DUI.
As we do throughout the year, we will drive you home with your vehicle, and above all, we will stay up ALL NIGHT to make sure that you get home safely on Tuesday.
All we ask are two things:
- If you don’t have plans for New Year’s Eve, come Volunteer with us! We’re a ton of fun to hang out with, and yes we’ll even feed you, haha

If you ARE going out and drinking, simply take care of the drivers, help us get through these rides quickly, and tip them if you’d like!
FAQS (definitely read this part):
– New Year’s Eve is the one night of the year that is strictly on-demand, meaning you cannot schedule ahead of time that night. This helps us be efficient on our end given the (very) high demand!
- As with any other night of the year, SOS Safe Ride of Frederick will only drive you home if you have your vehicle with you.
- We serve the entire county, Mt. Airy included.
- Starting at 12am on the dot, it will 100% be busy, and the app/phone will ring off the hook (happens every year). But we are here, keep calling and we’ll pick up for you.
We appreciate and love you Frederick, and we hope that everyone makes a great decision on Tuesday night. Whether you get an Uber, a taxi, walk home, ask a friend, or even use us…the point remains the same, never drink and drive!
