The Safe Ride Foundation is grateful to share that we have been awarded funding through the City of Frederick’s SECURE Grant program.
The SECURE Grant was created to help sustain local nonprofits during the October government shutdown, providing support during a period of uncertainty for organizations doing important community work.
For Safe Ride, this funding helps us continue serving Frederick County through our mission of preventing drunk driving, supporting safe transportation, and helping residents get where they need to go through programs like SOS Safe Ride and Rides for Good.
We are especially thankful to the City of Frederick for its continued partnership and investment in local nonprofits. Strong communities are built when local government, nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and residents all work together toward shared solutions.
Frederick is fortunate to have leaders who understand that nonprofit work is not extra. It is essential infrastructure for the community.
