Volunteer Awards Night is one of our favorite nights of the year because it gives us the chance to say thank you to the people who give something incredibly valuable: their time.
At The Safe Ride Foundation, volunteers are the heartbeat of the mission. They are the ones who show up late at night, answer the call, drive the miles, support passengers, and help make safer transportation possible throughout Frederick County.
Our annual Volunteer Awards Night recognizes volunteers based on the number of hours served or rides contributed. These awards are more than numbers. They represent sacrifice, consistency, compassion, and a willingness to serve the community in a very real way.
To every awardee, thank you. We love you, we appreciate you, and we genuinely believe you are the true superheroes of this organization.
We also want to give a huge congratulations to our Volunteer of the Year, Jeanne Jacko. Your commitment and heart represent the very best of this mission.
To all of our volunteers: thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your care.
Safe Ride is only possible because of you.
